ABOUT
The Colorado FIREfighter Testing Consortium is a pool of fire departments along the Front Range Urban Corridor in Colorado. The organization was created to ensure a highly educated, skilled and diversified candidate group was able to fill new and replacement firefighter positions with the organizations. The testing consortium replaces the Denver Regional Council of Governments (DRCOG) testing program. The Colorado FIREfighter Testing Consortium was created on April 4th, 2016 after the last DRCOG testing process. The consortium pool merged two groups, the DRCOG Fire Board and the North Area Fire Chiefs Association. Currently member departments are hiring an average of 81 Firefighters per year.
